Helpful Tips from Danielle Hasley
Living on campus is a very unique and rewarding experience. You learn a lot about others and yourself. A campus tour guide and an older friend gave me a list of things that were a "must have." I've listed some of those items here and a few helpful tips. All of these items can be found at Bed and Bath and Beyond. 

Spiral Pop-Up Hamper on Wheels
This hamper can hold up to 4
loads of laundry. It has pockets
for your quarters and soap
powder packets. The wheels make
it easy to transport. Most of all it 
                            collapses for easy storage.


Collapsible Wood Dryer
Great for "hang to dry" items.
Collapsible for easy storage.
Dryer measures 41" H x 14
13/4" W x 3" D and has 23 feet
of drying space.

Rival® Electric Hot Pot
This heats up 60% faster than
a microwave. It is perfect for
boiling water for hot coco, tea
and soups.Its easy to clean and
has an adjustable thermostat.

Plastic Bed Lifts/Risers
Check with your school first
to find out if your bed is already
raised. If not pick up some
of these. These risers allow
you to have more storage
                             space under your bed.

Be sure to buy a Full/Queen
sized comforter.
This will allow your
comforter to hang over your
bed and hide all the items you're
storing. Gives you more privacy
                            and  looks nice.

Air Freshner/Plug Ins
As much as you would like to
believe that your roommate
will have the same habbits
as you, sometimes they stink.
                         This is a great way to keep
                          your room fresh.
